The third section of this edited collection takes on the themes of death and resurrection, framed through composition, gender, disability, queerness and resistance. Each of the contributors offers a differentiated, interdisciplinary perspective on music and death, plunging between alternative perspectives on the concept of death and dying and how that relates to their engagement with performance, composition, queerness discourse and disability law.
A crucial addition to this collection, this section facilitates a conversation on the ways in which those who embody the other navigate the world by using music as their roadmap and how death and dying can exist as a stop upon that journey.
