A beginner's reflection on public mental health partnerships (after a few sips of feminism)
Abstract
In the busy reality of everyday work many notions of key concern are taken for granted. This article provides a critical reflection on commonly used and often uncontested terms and practices such as mental health, public mental health and partnerships in public health. This is achieved by taking the stand of a naïve observer, while implicitly referring to notions of difference and engendered power relations as elaborated within feminist studies.
