Hoora.com is set to challenge the way we buy our training. Hoora is working with training suppliers to put classroom courses under the Internet auctioneer's hammer, allowing the market to decide what it is prepared to pay for its training. In collaboration with Fairmarket, a supplier of Internet auction expertise and software, Hoora.com is also pioneering the AutoMarkdown auction – a course's price reduces as time passes. Over the past 40 years the airlines have discovered that a variable mixture of pricing for the same quality of seat and service does not reduce their custom or their revenues – it maximises them. In the same way as people neither know nor care what their neighbour in the next seat on a 747 paid, they will neither know nor care what their fellow students paid for their Advanced Exchange Server place.
