BCIS reports that tender prices fell by 6.1 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2001. However, the overall trend is still upwards (3.5 per cent in the first quarter of 2002, compared with the same period last year) and this slight blip was thought to be associated with the events of 11 September 2001.
