DuPont names three to key positions in company’s performance coatings unit
DuPont Coatings and Color Technologies has announced that John R. Lewis, Vice President and General Manager DuPont Herberts Automotive Systems and Powder Coatings, will become Vice President – Asia Growth Initiatives for DuPont Performance Coatings. Marty M. McQuade, Director – DuPont Herberts Automotive Systems – Americas, will succeed Lewis as vice president and General Manager – DuPont Herberts Automotive Systems, with responsibility for the global OEM coatings business. Douglas L. Moore, Director – Refinish Systems – Americas, will become Vice President and General Manager – DuPont Advanced Coatings Systems, and will relocate to Wuppertal, Germany. The appointments are effective from April 1.
Lewis has spent his entire 38 years DuPont career in the automotive-finishes and polymers businesses; McQuade has more than 26 years of experience in nearly every phase of the DuPont coatings business; and Moore joined DuPont in 1969 in a marketing position and has held several positions in the DuPont coatings businesses.
Edward J. Donnelly, Group Vice President – DuPont Coatings and Color Technologies, said the appointments “will accelerate the implementation of our growth plans for industrial coatings in Europe, Asia and the Americas”.
