The Graphic Arts Business Group of Zeneca Resins announces that the following waterborne product is being introduced on the market: NeoCryl A-1091 is a water-borne modified styrene copolymer dispersion for use in overprint varnishes and water based liquid inks which claims excellent printability properties for paper and cardboard applications. Characteristic final film properties are said to be high gloss with excellent transparency combined with ultra low odour and taint impact in packaging applications.

NeoCryl A-1091 is stated to be free of glycol ethers and contains less than 0.1 per cent of organic solvent giving the opportunity to formulate low VOC printing inks and OPVs. Technical datasheet, MSDS, formulation guidelines and samples are available on request.
