The theme for this year’s event was “The Taste of Tomorrow” and looked at ways school meal providers are adapting to the many changes that have affected the service in recent years.

This is the key event for anyone involved in school catering and this year I was interested to see not only school caterers and providers of products but also farmers and journalists.

The confernce opened with a keynote session from Jamie Oliver on future plans for school food. This followed with numerous speakers on topics related to food in schools.
