SMART SYSTEMS INTEGRATION 2010 offers the ideal forum for industry and research
Article Type: Industry news From: Microelectronics International, Volume 27, Issue 1
The Call for Papers for the SMART SYSTEMS INTEGRATION 2010 is now open. The event, which is taking place from March 23 to 24, 2010 in Como, Italy, will once again be the most important European communication platform for smart systems integration. The deadline for submission of the abstracts is October 20, 2009.
On a high level, the event provides both an overview of the basics of this complex subject matter as well as insights into their use, the latest level of technology and a look at possible future developments. Relevant to the industry and oriented towards users, it addresses researchers, developers, and users in equal measure. Every year, it shows Europe's potential and creates the basis for successful research cooperations.
Wide range of topics from industry and science
Through the integration of smart systems, a variety of environmental, societal and environment challenges will be accepted. Different specialist areas like microsystems and nanotechnology, optics, fluidics, biology, medical science, electronics, and wireless communication have to be networked with one another. And the topics of possible lectures and tutorials from science and practical experience are just as wide-ranging. The conference committee under the direction of Prof. Dr Thomas Gessner from the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Electronic Nano Systems is looking forward to receiving submissions in English on the following topics:
- •
