IMAPS moves to new permanent world headquarters in Washington, DC

IMAPS has moved from its Reston, Virginia, USA headquarters to a new facility in Washington, DC. The new IMAPS offices are centrally located – nearer to airports and mass transit – and offer the organization a number of advantages that make it a suitable permanent location for the Society.

According to Greg Caswell, IMAPS President, "This move gives IMAPS greater ability to promote the Society's portfolio of technologies within the microelectronics industry, providing increased benefit to our members, as well as helping IMAPS continue in its leadership role. This planned relocation is key to accommodating IMAPS' growth; our Society now hosts over 30 meetings worldwide, and our annual microelectronics symposium attracts more than 6,000 of the world's premier scientists and engineers in microelectronics and packaging."

The new address and contact information is as follows: IMAPS, 611 2nd Street, NE, Washington, DC 20002, USA. E-mail: IMAPS@imaps.org; Tel: +1 202-548-4001; Home page: http://www.imaps.org
