The Journal of Property Investment & Finance is pleased to announce a call for papers for a Special Issue devoted to salient issues related to the role of corporate social responsibility, socially responsible property investment and sustainability in property investment. Suggested areas are:

Developments in best practices in sustainability and social responsibility;

The boundaries and limits of social responsibility;
- •
Attitudes towards social responsibility;
- •
Role of ethics in property investment;
- •
Stakeholder frameworks;
- •
Defining roles and integration into investment decision making;
- •
Information disclosure and transparency
- •
Value, worth and relationships with profitability;
- •
Demand and supply issues;
- •
Measuring corporate social performance;
- •
Benchmarking.
This list is not exhaustive and interested authors are encouraged to contact the Editor with alternative proposals. Please kindly take note of the following requirements if you wish to have your paper considered for this Special Issue:
The content of the paper must conform with the terms of reference of the Journal of Property Investment & Finance:

All papers submitted will be subject to the normal double blind refereeing process undertaken by the journal
- •
Submitted papers must not be under review by any other journal
- •
Papers should have a strong focus on issues of sustainability and/or social responsibility in property investment. Articles must be analytic and rigorous, not merely descriptive.
The closing date for submissions is: 30 September 2008
