The company was formed 18 months ago out of UniSphere NASA's technology transfer programme by Steve Hall, previously of British Aerospace and Dave Clark of British Telecom. Products include WS2/Tungsten Disulphide, a low friction surface treatment (developed by NASA for use in deep space) that is used in the plastics industry as a permanent release agent and coated on lubricant.
