3M sales force takes off with ex-Red Arrows fighter pilots

Mission Excellence, a team of former Red Arrows fighter pilots and training experts who now specialize in developing leadership, teamwork and execution skills for corporate teams, designed and delivered content for a sales conference for UK employees of 3M, the worldwide diversified company.

One the first day, Mission Excellence delivered a program focusing on improving sales managers’ planning and analysis. The second day concentrated on the attitudes and skills required to execute the plan and move towards the customer-centric model that the business wants to achieve. A bespoke team-development seminar then focused on planning, intelligence capture and intelligence dissemination. This was followed by team exercises to develop a customer-centric solution to a complex problem, interspersed with time-out sessions where the learning outcomes were contextualized.
