We are fortunate to have three conference reports in this issue – a report of two long-standing annual conferences and one new conference, all of which occurred in the spring of 2006. The reports, prepared by Eden King (George Mason University, USA), Marshall Pattie (University of Texas-Arlington, USA), and Yoshimichi Sato (Tohoku University, Japan) are fine examples of the diversity in research conducted that is relevant to equality and inclusion around the world. Neither of the conferences was solely an equality or diversity conference, yet each had sessions, tracks, and presentations which were clearly relevant to the journal. With industrial/organization psychology, management, and sociology, the authors' disciplines also exemplify the breadth of reach of diversity research. Each report in this issue includes full titles and author information which will facilitate contacts and research connections long before many of these works will appear in print.

We hope that you find the reports interesting and insightful and encourage your submissions of conference reports in the future. Researchers from disciplines including economics, finance, psychology, sociology, organizational behavior, human resources, gender studies, and racial or ethnic studies conduct research that is relevant to Equal Opportunities International, and we all stand to benefit when more research on these issues is publicized.
