SCoRe update

Search Company Reports (SCoRe), the national union catalogue of company report holdings in five key library research collections, now lists over 180,000 reports for more than 17,000 companies, the earliest of which date back to the nineteenth century. This Research Support Libraries programme-funded project ended in summer 2002 but the work undertaken by the project is continuing.

The SCoRe Web site has been recently updated and refocused. The 20 collection descriptions (www.score.ac.uk/map.asp) have been checked and updated, the outcomes of the project highlighted and a set of guidelines provided for libraries planning to dispose of company reports.

The site is now maintained by the SCoRe user group, which consists of representatives of the original project institutions (London Business School, Manchester Business School, University of Warwick, University of Strathclyde, British Library, and Guildhall Library, Corporation of London).
