A DIETARY STUDY OF HEALTHY EATING
Abstract
The Consumers' Association has recently carried out a dietary study among members of the general public to find out if ordinary people, without any specialised knowledge of nutrition, can manage to achieve the dietary goals currently being recommended. The study aimed to find out if consumers are being given the right sort of information they need in order to change to more healthy eating, and if the goals are achieved, does the new diet still provide all the required dietary components. The Association has now reported on the results of this trial to bring individuals' diets into line with dietary guidelines. These are some of the important aspects of the report.
