Abstract

It would seem from recent medical research that people who have a ‘drink problem’ have a ‘vitamin problem’ as well. How and why alcohol in constant excess damages the human body, yet in moderation relaxes, relieves and comforts it, has long puzzled doctors. New evidence suggests, however, that it is not so much the alcohol itself, but its effects on body chemistry that are responsible.
