PULLING OUT OF THE PROFIT DIVE
27
Abstract
The gloss and trimmings needed for the world's number one status industry finally caught up on the airlines. Arthur Reed, air correspondent of The Times, talks to the chief executives of the major European and American companies about the management task facing them to get clear of the massive recession of the past few years. This year still looks somewhat grim, but there is now a belief that 1973 will see the famous names with respectable balance sheets once again.
