The Automatic Factory

Abstract

MUCH is being heard just now about the Automatic Factory of the relatively near future, and far more has been said and written about it in the U.S.A. than in this country. There is nothing very wonderful about it, it follows the course of natural industrial revolution. Instead of a few automatic machines with which we are all familiar, almost every section of a works from the arrival of raw materials to the final assembly is to be run without manual effort in this factory of the future.
