People, Machines and Material

Abstract

Most of us seem to be in a perpetual struggle to succeed (or, at worst, just survive) in our chosen careers, while simultaneously trying to prepare for the daunting challenges of the future. And today, this ‘future’ is only a year or two away. Growing up in New York in the 1950's, I remember the ‘future’ being talked about in terms of distant decades!
