Increasing efficiency
Abstract
Storing approximately £2½m worth of fasteners, components and sub‐assemblies, Hawker Siddeley Dynamics Ltd, required storage packaging. This packaging has to protect the contents against atmospheric pollutants, be easy to open and re‐seal repeatedly and allow the contents to be observed without opening the seal. Furthermore, with some of the sub‐assemblies worth up to £5,000, the seals must be sufficiently strong to withstand pressure from the contents if inadvertently taken out of storage upside down.
