Serviceing Advantages of the Jet‐Propulsion Engine: A Discussion of the Effect of Present Turbine Engines on the Maintenance Periods of Aeroplanes

Abstract

SOME literature on the subject of jet‐propulsion power units for aircraft is now available. These have, however, in the main, been primarily concerned with the description and performance of these units. Little, if anything, of the serviceing and serviceing requirements of the gas turbine has been written.
