Abstract
DETAILED descriptions of all the aeroplanes and aero‐engines exhibited at the Fifteenth Paris Aero Salon have appeared in varions of our contemporaries all over the world, and through these those of our readers who were not able to visit the show and see for themselves will be familiar with all the novelties displayed. It is never possible for a monthly publication to be topical in the articles that appear in its pages. That aspect is amply covered by the weekly periodicals, and we have always declined to be stampeded into trying to vie with them in this respect. In the aircraft world they supply the “ news,” while it is in our opinion the role of the monthly to be in the true sense a “review.”
