Abstract

AS one of the most important parts of an aeroplane, an airscrew must be designed L in such a way as to prevent all avoidable risk of damage. Serious danger may be incurred, by vibration of the airscrew as it revolves. Up to the present, relatively few publications of practical value have appeared which deal with the calculation and observation of airscrew oscillations.
