Some Fine Tools of Research: Reflections on New Equipment in England and America

Abstract

IT does not often happen that it is possible to publish simultaneously a description of two pieces of research apparatus designed and installed in two different countries for the same purpose. Indeed, it is a fortuitous circumstance that has not happened before within our experience and docs not seem likely to occur again.
