How to Attract Students to the Field of Management: An Empirical Study
52
Abstract
The retarded economic progress in developing countries is often attributed to a lack of management know‐how and shortage of qualified managers. Likely places for training managers are the local colleges and universities offering degree programmes in administration, commerce, or economics. However, educators face problems in attracting students to these areas.
