Eliminating Cash at the University of Rochester: Don't Bother Bringing Change

Abstract

Of all the things that newly matriculating students need to have when they arrive on the campus of the University of Rochester, small change is not one of them. Students here do not need to search their pockets for loose change to operate the vending machines, library photocopiers, and dormitory washers and dryers that for a few years are the most vital of all machines in collegiate life.
