Abstract

The principal files and systems used to provide data to corporate planners in the food industry are surveyed, and useful features on each described. The files considered most useful are: CDA Spectrum, CDC‐EBIS, DRI, Disclosure, Standard and Poor's News, ABI‐Inform, Foods Adlibra and PTS Promt. The features of files and systems not available on Dialog are considered in particular depth.
