Abstract

TeleData The 3‐year trial period of TeleData, the Norwegian version of videotex, is underway in the industrial sector. Some 20 companies are taking part and they will be joined in the Spring of 1980 by up to 100 terminals in the domestic sector. Negotiations are taking place with many potential information providers, including the newspaper group and the Norwegian Standards Association (which makes a database of its standards available via Scannet on the NSI computer) but only the Norwegian Centre for Information and the Norwegian Telephone Administration are actually providing information at present.
