Abstract

The National Insurance Joint Authority, in exercise of powers conferred by sections 20(2) and 50 of the National Insurance Act 1965 and now vested in them, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, and in conjunction with the Treasury so far as relates to matters with regard to which the Treasury have so directed, hereby make the following regulations, which are made in consequence of the Employment and Training Act 1973 and which accordingly by virtue of section 14(1) of and paragraph 7(3) of Schedule 3 to that Act are exempt from the requirements of sections 107 and 108 of the said Act of 1965 (which relate respectively to the Parliamentary control of regulations and reference to the National Insurance Advisory Committee):—
