Abstract
The Engineers (col, 30 min, free). Hawker Siddeley have made an adventurous report on the variety and glamour of engineering. Shot in brilliant colour throughout the globe, it emphasizes the responsibility and excitement of an engineer's life. All aspects of technology are covered — civil, mechanical, aeronautical and electrical. The aim of the film is to improve the status and image of the engineer and to encourage pupils to take up technological studies: it cannot help but be successful. One only hopes Hawker Siddeley recruit the proportion of engineers they deserve. Available on free loan from Sound Services Film Library, Wilton Crescent, London SW 19.
