‘The Age of Automation’
33
Abstract
Here we have a skilful and absorbing treatment of automation by a man who is both one of the pre‐eminent authorities on the technicalities of automation and, to date, its most ardent interpreter and publicist. These lectures are concerned exclusively with the non‐technical aspects of automation: the social and political implications, its effect on our way of life, the influences it will have on education, and other weighty matters of such broad and general interest.
