Abstract
Information systems are the amalgam which holds the system together and allows us to operate in a physical sense. This is different from, and should not be confused with, monitoring and control which is about the integration and use of all available logics, insights and techniques, which together give us control over the logistics part of the business and therefore in many situations, the total business.
