Britain's Cultural Share‐Out
26
Abstract
THE librarian is always alive to cultural affairs whether in the realm of books themselves, or of music, art, or other activities which make life worth living. He is ever anxious to link them up with books by arranging exhibitions, musical recitals, dramatic reproductions, knowing that the encouragement of intellectual activity even in fields apparently remote from books all have their effect on reading.
