THE LOCATIONS SERVICE OF THE BLLD: A STUDY OF ITS EFFECTIVENESS
18
Abstract
Since the BLLD was formed by the amalgamation of the NCL and the NLL, it has been able to satisfy a high proportion of requests for English language and current foreign language monographs from stock. However, a union catalogue is necessary in order to supplement the central lending stock because demand for older items is still high.
