Abstract
Synopsis The emergence of third world multinational corporations is a comparatively new phenomenon, providing scarce foreign exchange for less developed countries. This paper explores some of the reasons behind the emergence of third world MNCs and in particular examines the successes and failures of Indian MNCs.
