NEW PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY FOR THE NEW GENERATION OF AIRBUS

Abstract

A combination of enhanced organisation and increased automation is being used to improve productivity at Aerospatiale's Toulouse plant, the French centre of Airbus assembly where annual output is planned to increase by 50 per cent over the next four years.
