Pierre Beaudoin president and CEO of Bombardier Aerospace has announced that John Giraudy has been named president, Bombardier Regional Aircraft.
Previously senior vice-president, marketing & sales, John replaces Steven A. Ridolfi who was appointed executive vice-president, programs and strategic. planing, Bombardier Aerospace.
A native of St. Lucia, John joined de Havilland as a salesman in 1981, later becoming sales director for Europe and Africa. In 1986 he was named director of marketing for de Havilland.
John joined Bombardier in 1991, as vice-president, sales for the newly introduced Canadair Regional Jet. He was appointed vice-president, international sales the following year following de Havilland's acquisition by Bombardier.
