Boeing Commercial Airplanes report that Louis Mancini has been named vice president Maintenance Operations Services, a unit of the company's newly restructured Commercial Aviation Services organization.
Mancini joins Boeing from United Airlines. where he has served as vice president Engineering and Technical Support. since 1995. He also has hold executive posts at Northwest Airlines.
In his new position at Boeing, Mancini will oversee an organization responsible for airplane maintenance information, engineering and planning; aeroplane-on-the- ground (AOG) and recovery services, component maintenance; and Boeing subsidiaries Continental Graphics and Aoroinfo Systems.
