Cranfield Aerospace reports that it has secured its first U.S. Department of Defense contract. Cae will provide Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD, with a multi-axis Motion Cueing Seat System for the CH-47F Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator being developed for the U.S. Army PM Cargo.

The contract with J. F. Taylor, Inc., (Lexington Park, MD) is to provide four seats (in two-seat sets) for transportable CH-47F Chinook trainers. The total procurement opportunity represents 18 simulators to support training requirements.
