Access control specialist Castell Safety International Ltd has introduced a new data sheet on the Castell 5000 Light Curtain. Giving information on product variants and applications, the data sheet also includes operating specifications such as size and range.
Designed to protect personnel from gaining access to potentially hazardous equipment, the light curtains consist of an invisible "barrier" which will instantly shut down equipment if crossed. Unlike conventional access control systems, they allow operators to see clearly into the safeguarded area.
