The Central European Coatings Show 2004 – the primary coatings event for Central and Eastern Europe – will take place at the new venue of the Warsaw International Expocentre, Warsaw, Poland on 23-25 November 2004.

The Central European Coatings Show is a key coatings event for Central and Eastern Europe, with a wide variety of international and local companies, attracting visitors from the paint, printing inks, specialised coatings and adhesive manufacturing industries.

The 2002 show held in Poland was a great success, attracting over 1,000 attendees from 28 different countries, with people arriving from places such as: Germany, Poland, Hungary, Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, Finland, Ukraine, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania, Belarus and Austria.

The global coatings market is predicted to increase over the next few years with Eastern Europe expected to deliver good growth between 2001 and 2005, supported by economic stability in Russia and the developments in the EU accession candidates.

There will be a technical conference organised by Paint and Plastics Department of the Institute for Plastics Processing “Metalchem” (IPTIF), entitled “Advances in Coatings Technology”, which takes place on 23-26 November 2004.
