Purpose

To make the case for those involved in organizational learning to take an interest in (and do something about) the problems with schooling.

Design/methodology/approach

Think piece based on experience

Findings

The need is for adults to take action on behalf of young people.

Practical implications

Organizations will run better if schools did a better job in providing a rounded education for young people.

Originality/value

Linking organizational needs with schooling.
