Abstract
Examines the impact of convergence on the various rules and agreements, administered by the WTO and vice versa. Concludes there is need to review provisions of some rules administered by the WTO to enable the multilateral trading system to deal adequately with convergence, and to ensure benefits are spread wide enough. Recommends the WTO should encourage policy reforms leading to widespread and efficient communications.
