Implementing and Initiating Alcohol Workplace Policies
Abstract
Describes a study which aimed to identify factors most likely to lead to the implementation of an alcohol policy by employers. The study also examines the types of policy adopted and assesses the process by which the policies were initiated and implemented. Concludes that previous studies have probably overestimated the prevalence of healthâoriented alcohol policies in England, but employers could be encouraged to introduce health goals into disciplinary policies.
