Abstract
Developing a campus‐wide information system (CWIS) in any organization is not a straightforward task insofar as a high level of commitment in the planning process and subsequent ongoing involvement in the maintenance of the system are required of users. User patronage of the system is in fact comparable in importance to the commitment by developers both during system development stages and in the maintenance of the system thereafter.
