Abstract
Suggests a self‐development approach to career management. Describes the importance of the exchange of information on employment opportunities between individuals and their employers. Provides a set of careers counselling activities. Concludes that career planning involves trying to make predictions about future job opportunities and preparing for the unpredictable.
