An overview of State of California court decisions in employment discrimination cases

Abstract

Introduces the basic framework of California State employment discrimination laws together with related recent court decisions affecting Californian businesses. Concentrates on the Higher court decisions because of their final nature and long lasting impact on the business community and the work environment. Reviews only recent cases from Internet sources. Provides some conclusions for businesses to help with compliance.
