Abstract
Discusses the Access to Neighbouring Land Act of 1992, designed to provide owners and occupiers of buildings with a fair system for gaining access to neighbouring land in order to carry out necessary repairs to their own land. Outlines the scope of the Act and sets out the definition of ‘basic preservation works′. Explores the implications of the Act, and its application in respect to Crown Land.
