Abstract
Discusses the reasons for the development of new procedures within recruitment with particular reference to the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Evaluates the need for change procedures before employment takes place, in areas such as where to advertise, background investigation, screening, testing and interviewing. Advocates the use of agency methods to ensure compliance with regulations.
