Abstract

Outlines a method for effective recruitment. Looks at the job audit, to consider the need for a new individual, and the writing of a job description. Discusses ways of searching for applicants and reviewing resumes and applications. Considers the selection process including preparing and conducting the effective interview, testing, referencing and credit checks. Concludes with the decision making process suggesting that the key to successfulness is preparation and effective procedures.
